Ken McDuffie and Meghan Davidson Obtain Dismissal of Complaint Claiming Improper Relationship Between Employee Nurse and Inmate

PigRoastGolf-2607-EditPigRoastGolf-2807 LianaPlaintiff claimed that the contracted healthcare provider at Gwinnett County Jail inadequately trained and supervised a nurse-employee who allegedly had an improper sexual relationship with the plaintiff during his incarceration at the jail, in violation of state and federal law.  McDuffie and Davidson argued that the claims against the contracted healthcare provider were subject to dismissal for failure to state a claim.  The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia agreed and dismissed the lawsuit against their correctional healthcare client.
