Michael T. Davis

Michael Davis is an Associate at Nall & Miller, practicing in the areas of Governmental & Constitutional Litigation, Family Law, Transportation & Trucking Litigation, and Business Litigation. Michael’s Governmental & Constitutional Litigation practice focuses on the defense side of correctional healthcare. Michael’s Family Law practice includes prenuptial agreements, divorce, and wills and estates. Michael also defends trucking companies and other commercial carriers in litigation involving accidents.

Background and Education

Prior to joining Nall & Miller, Michael worked for over two years as a staff attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Michael has also worked in a judicial externship with the Honorable Steve C. Jones at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Michael graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Michael served as a notes editor for the Georgia Law Review. Prior to law school, Michael obtained undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Georgia while graduating magna cum laude.

Michael also has significant experience in the restaurant industry, having spent nearly ten years working his way up from in-store employee to Area Manager for Papa John’s Pizza franchises.  Through this experience, Michael has a unique understanding of the legal and business issues facing franchisees, franchisors, and small business owners.

Community Involvement & Personal Interests

Outside of his law practice, Michael enjoys watching Georgia football and the Atlanta Braves.
