After receiving her undergraduate degree from Emory University, Jamila graduated cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law, where she also earned a Health Law Certificate, with honors and the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Health Law.

While in law school, Jamila participated in multiple clinics, including the Health Law Partnership Legal Services Clinic and Transition to Practice in partnership with Cobb Legal Aid, gaining hands on experience in successfully representing clients.

Prior to joining Nall & Miller, Jamila worked as a Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where she gained extensive legal research and writing experience in a broad area of law.
