Senior Partner, George Neuhauser, was invited by Jennifer Cleary, Director of Regulatory Affairs and Randy Cooper, Vice President Technical Operations & Standards of the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) to present at the 12th Bi-Annual Product Safety & Liability Conference on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Washington National Airport Hotel in Arlington, VA.  This one-day conference of professionals in the appliance industry focused on product safety, product liability prevention and defense, and regulations on product safety.  The program was designed to assist companies in developing the finest internal programs for product safety, meet applicable regulations and to successfully defend product liability litigation.  The latest developments in regulation and litigation were discussed along with issues related to standards development, returned products, and recalls in the digital age. Participants in the seminar included company risk management personnel, safety and standards engineers, engineers who act as investigators or expert witnesses, and defense attorneys.

Also on the panel with George Neuhauser were Michael Singleton (Helen of Troy), Larry Bell (BSH), Duane Boniface (CPSC), and Randy Cooper.  Two of the five Commissioners of the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), Ann Marie Buerkle and Marietta Robinson, spoke on a panel as well.
