Partner Clinton Fletcher recently achieved a favorable arbitration award on behalf of a vehicle financing company.  Claimant sought damages under Georgia’s Motor Vehicle Sales Financing Act, Fair Business Practices Act, and the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.  After hearing evidence from all parties, the arbitrator denied all of Claimant’s counts and awarded Mr. Fletcher’s client its own damages for a deficiency balance owed on the vehicle purchased.
