Mike Hostetter and Jacob Madsen Win Motion to Dismiss in Triple Death Case

Mike Hostetter and Jacob Madsen successfully argued that the statute of limitations barred three wrongful death cases arising from a shooting at a house party. The Plaintiffs claimed the shooter had been improperly discharged from a psychiatric facility. The trial court agreed with their arguments that the statute of limitations tolling provision for crime victims was limited to the actual crime victims and not their surviving family members.
